We expanded our business and ventured into the spinning of cotton yarn.
1994
A big year for us.
In Mettupalayam, a picturesque town in Coimbatore, Sharadha Terry Products Ltd was established. Also, we were the first manufactures in the world to use air-jet technology to manufacture yarn dyed jacquard.
1999
5 years and counting!
With demand increasing by the day, we increased our production capacity.
2000
5 years and counting!
We introduced our newly-formed brand, Micro Cotton, to the world!
2002
As India celebrated winning the NatWest Trophy at Lord's, we launched our range of High Pile Woven Bath Rugs. The year 2002 also proved vital for us as we started our R&D for bed linen.
2004
Development never stops!
We were all set to bring our R&D of bed linen to life by establishing an exclusive facility. Our range of Micro Cotton® Finest Towels saw the light of day and a second unit was established for the same.
2005
The production capacity at Unit II was added.
2006
Bringing the best in the world to India. We established a new green field manufacturing facility with state of the art machinery.
2009
From manufactures to inventors!
We introduced the world to our latest invention - 'Turbo Capillary Technology'.
2014
Another milestone crossed!
We launched Sharadha Towels - a brand that's one of its kind and a class of its own.
2015
Energy of the future.
We installed Solar Voltaic Panels that led to more than 80% of our energy coming from green sources such as solar and wind.
2016
Serving the community.
We introduced Sharadha Pharmacy and Clinic to help those in need.
2017
Serving the community.
Launched a brand new identity for what the world, today, associates with comfort, luxury and fineness - Micro Cotton.
